About the Course
We're transforming the Mess Lab into a festive wonderland where kids can explore, create, and play their way through the holidays. Plus, all our other play labs are open for the full Makery experience.
What's happening:
Christmas-themed sensory play (variety of options)
Christmas tree playdough station - build and decorate with tiny twinkling lights and fun embellishments.
Decorate giant gingerbread men with foam "icing" and fun decorations.
Christmas bakeshop – holiday baking in our dramatic play area
Ornament making – design your own keepsake
Cookie decorating – every child gets a Christmas sugar cookie to decorate (and devour!)
Epic snowball showdown – we're ending each workshop with a fluffy snowball fight in the Move Lab!
This is the kind of Christmas activity where kids follow their curiosity, try new things, and leave with something they're proud of. No structured schedules, no sitting still – just real play, creativity, and a whole lot of holiday joy.
PLEASE NOTE
We limit the number of families in the Mess Lab at one time to ensure everyone has space to enjoy the activities. Some families will be given access for the first hour and others the last hour. If you need a specific timing due to other commitments that require you to leave early, please let us know at the door so we can get you in the right group.
We encourage adults and children to wear play clothes (that are safe for paint messes, etc) and come ready to explore! Please bring a water bottle for each guest if needed; we do not have a fountain nor drinks for sale. All guests should be wearing socks, please.
We are not able to provide gluten-free or guaranteed nut-free options for the cookies. You are welcome to bring your own if you like!
One full-priced ticket includes one child and one adult. Additional adults/siblings will need to purchase a ticket of their own. If you plan to bring a sibling along that is over the age of 1, they will need a ticket for this event. Please note that this event is not geared toward children under 3, and there may be small objects within reach.
Doors open a maximum of 10 minutes prior to the workshop, as our events involve a lot of cleaning and setting up between each session time.
